Vegetarian Diet Gaining Muscle Weight With Creatine
If you’re new to trying to gain weight and build muscle, then I’ll go on to explain what it is and what it does and how it’s especially important to vegans and vegetarians trying to gain muscle mass.
Creatine is not a vitamin, mineral or some crazy, foreign chemical produced in a lab somewhere – it’s a naturally produced amino acid created in your skeletal muscle system. Amino acids link together to build muscles in our bodies.
You can take creatine as a supplement in a powder form or a creatine serum. The serum provides creatine monohydrate in liquid form although powders are what many lifters take when trying to bulk up.
Creatine bulks up your body by providing you with extra energy and for ATP production. It’s acquired by our bodies when we eat such things as meats, fish and eggs.
Vegetarians have a more difficult time with acquisition and creation of creatine in their bodies. So, creatine supplementation is a great way to boost your ability to workout for longer periods of time so you can build good muscle mass.
What’s also great about creatine is that not only does it provide a person with energy to build muscle, it also stimulates an increase in energy growth – which means a person can work out and lift weights more. This rapidly increases the load your body can handle and will build those muscles and help you gain weight faster.
Not sure how to take creatine? You are not alone! Making the choice to go meat free isn’t without effort. Make sure you read this practical guide to using creatine, which I wrote a while back.
